Owing to its brand strength, market leadership and consistent performance over the years, Novellino wines was awarded the Superbrands status last September 27, 2005 in an awarding ceremony organized by Superbrands International. Novellino holds the distinction of being the only wine brand in the Philippines to be given such an award.

Accepting the award for Bel Mondo Italia Corp., makers of Novellino wines, were Mr. Vicente Quimbo, founder and president, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Myla Quimbo.

Aside from the hardwork and marketing insight behind the brand’s success, Novellino’s Superbrands recognition is also a validation of the leap of faith that the company took to invest in a well-equipped modern winemaking facility in the country – a move that speaks a lot about the belief and optimism that the company had behind its brand and products right at the very start.
